About the dance team

Kaunas „Žalgiris“ arena. The loud buzzer announces the beginning of a timeout. Despite the players are resting and reviewing tactics, the fans are still attentively viewing at the court. The music hits off and the basketball court is immediately filled with green-white colours, but this time it's not the players - it's the beautiful dance team of Kaunas "Žalgiris". Their charming looks combined with extremely graceful moves attracts every eye in the arena. It's just impossible to imagine a home game without our lovely ladies!

The dance team, which came together in 2007, soon went far enough to become the official dance team of Kaunas "Žalgiris" in the beginning of the 2009/2010 season. This gorgeous group consists of twelve professionals. Every one of them can be proud of their achievements in the sport and art gymnastics, as well as in sport aerobics.

Biggest achievements

These dancers not only dance during the time-outs in games of "Žalgiris". They also actively attend in various competitions. They also perform in other basketball events like in the European basketball championship.
