In this season, Kaunas "Zalgiris" and Moscow "CSKA" teams haven't officially been defeated by any team, but before playing an official match against each other in the VTB United League, there will be a very special match.
On this weeks Sunday Arvydas Sabonis, Sergejus Jovaisa, Vitoldas Masalskis, Algirdas Linkevicius, Mindaugas Arlauskas, Virginijus Jankauskas, Arvydas Venclovas, Darius Laskys and some other ex-players of "Zalgiris" will play against veterans from CSKA like Sergei Tarakanov, Anatoly Myshkin, Heino Enden, Aleksandr Meleshkin, Viktor Berezhnoy, Igor Kudelin, Vladimir Tkachenko.
The Lithuanian Basketball Federation President Arvydas Sabonis last game in "Zalgiris" was in 2004. Now he will put on the green-white jersey once again!
The clash of these legends is expected to be very entertaining and fun. It will be so heart-warming when these retired players will move in the court, make some baskets and have fun. It will be a special day for all of us - Kaunas "Zalgiris" fans!
